In our English 2 subject, we had to choose what's the topic of our term paper and I ended up choosing the microchip implant as my topic. I was interested in the idea of the microchip implant when my brother showed me a video of a man wearing a microchip inside his own body. At that time, I was suddenly bothered why it is needed on the human body in order to have an occupation or just to buy food on the mall without the use of a money. Is it really necessary? To be implanted by a microchips to get what you want? That was the questions that struck in my mind when I first heard of the thing microchips. It's kinda creepy though, how many people relates the microchip as a "mark of the beats" on the Holy Bible and just avoid it as fast as the society can after it becomes mandatory for us to be CHIPPED. And also, I was completely curios of how it is inserted beneath the human's skin just like what they did on the animals. And lastly, the question: Is it harmful for humans to be inserted by those microchips. At that moment, I realized that I should research on those things, about its benefits and disadvantages.
A human microchip implant is an integrated circuit device or RFID transponder encased in silicate glass and implanted in the body of a human being. A subdermal implant typically contains a unique ID number that can be linked to information contained in an external database, such as personal identification, medical history, medications, allergies, and contact information.
That's how I understand the microchip implantation on human, obviously it gives benefits and advantages to people, almost in every aspects of our lives. In our every living, we always depend on the technologies around us and as we depend, technologies' standardizes increases. it evolves spontaneously and we became unaware of the effects of it in our lives. We just learned to depend on it on its advantages but on the other side, there's a consequences. Just like what's my term paper is all about. As the microchips evolved, some potential issues of it arises. The potential issues of it are health, religious and human privacy. Those issues are just like knives that stabbing our backs of we just continue to use this kind of technologies. And it's a total harmful in our human race, specially when it comes to health first. What do you think you can do if you have a microchip inside of you? It doesn't mean that you're 100% safe because there are possibilities that it can harm our entire body system.
In addition, many Christian speculated that the implantation of microchip is the “Mark of the beast”. The Bible mentioned "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)" It really means that it is one of the works of the enemy that may trigger us to use. It's not very good though.
And Lastly, the issues about privacy. This is wicked because it's not just invading our bodies, but also invading our privacy. once it is stored with you, it can never be remove (unless you'll go to hospital). All the information is stored in your own body. And you can be easily trace by others on just simply tacking down your chip. Many issues will arise when it come to privacy, it could be an identity theft issue or a hacking issue. Problems could be added if we just continue to use it.
I'm glad that I chose this one as my topic on our term paper because I'm completely aware of the effects of the microchip in our body concerning on health, religion and privacy.

fireworks by katy perry blogpost of neslie militante
When I first heard this song on the radio, I like the message of it because it inspire us to be who we wanted to be,,...It's same as Who Says but in completely different concept. The singer, Katy Perry, resembles the fireworks that is within her as herself. As well as the other people that is described on the music video. A lot of us are afraid to show our true selves because others might not understand us or even hate us. But as I watch the music video and portray it to myself, I realized that I'm one of those people who were afraid to show who I really am. So I was inspired by this song to be just like me. To show other's who I really am. That's what I got to te message of this song.

Who Says by Selena Gomez & The Scene #3
Who says you’re not start potential
Who says you’re not presidential
Who says you can’t be in movies
Listen to me, listen to me
Who says you don’t pass the test
Who says you can’t be the best
Who said, who said
Won’t you tell me who said that"
Ever since I heard this song it keeps on repeating in my mind over and over again. And I really like the music video of the song as well. This song entitles Who Says by Selena Gomez (one of my favorite singer) is my newly found addicting song and is stuck in my head whenever I hear it. Actually, I have many favorite songs and MV's by my favorite artists but I choose this song because it's the song that completely stuck in my head these days. And talking about the music video, the concept is nice and vibrant and it's like "being yourself", somewhat like those stuffs. Selena is so pretty wearing those dress and sometimes, I wish I could be like her. Haha. It's just one of those funny things when you got jealous of celebrity and stuffs. But I admit, this is my fave mv of her and I totally love it. Actually, she's one of my role models (along with her best friend, Demi Lovato) in Hollywood because I consider her clean.
Here's the MV of Who Says by Selena Gomez & The Scene
Don't judge the book by its cover.
yeah, it's one of the message of the song.
This kind of song always makes my day by its wonderful meaning. When I played it, it somewhat gives me the courage to stay strong from who I am despite the fact that I'm a terribly quiet person and have an extreme difficulties on expressing how I feel to others specially people whom I barely knew. People may judge me as a cold distant girl but it's not really who I am, it's just the way how I look on the outside but totally different in the inside. Also, the song tells me to trust myself, be content from who I am even if others will judge me. Who are they to judge me anyways? Are they even that perfect? Besides nobody's perfect so, each and everyone of us is the same because we are made by our one and only God and we have our own qualities and uniqueness. Everybody's beautiful and worth it on his/her own way.

"“My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.”

My favorite escapade then, now become my place #2
Summertime is escapade time for our family. It is the time when we get together for big break after a year long school and for my parents to give us great rewards from our school accomplishments. I have had great escapades year after year with my family but my first and favorite adventure was when I was only 4 years of age. We were invited to visit my mother’s birthplace, Iligan City for a wedding occasion one summertime. I was too excited for being a member of an entourage being a flower girl for the first time. We have to wake up early that day for a great preparation for our trip to Iligan City from Manila where we lived then. We took a big boat to Iligan and as I recalled it was Super ferry 5.
My father gave us the most expensive accommodation the ferry could offer for a family of four. It was surprisingly a suite room for us! What a superb accommodation, fully air conditioned with matching two queen sized beds, with T.V. refrigerator and hot and cold shower room with bath tub. We enjoyed staying there for two days and a night with special meals at the dining area. During daytime at the boat, we loved to sight see the islands around while the blue skies meet the summer calm sea. Perfect for us to take pictures for our memoirs. Then as kids, we enjoyed playing at the playground at the roof top of the boat, over viewing the sea. It was so fun for me that I didn’t realize, we were about to leave the boat.
Iligan was a strange place for me then. I thought only few people living in the place. We saw the city around and I had that kind of thinking how boring it is to live in a place with no mall at all! But when we toured around, nature tripping and spending at the cold spring of Timoga, my impression of the city was suddenly changed! I told myself, wow! This is an adventure! So we used to go at Maze Park, Timoga and those cold springs, Iligan City’s pride! There is no place like this in Metro Manila where traffic jam is all around, I told grand ma! How I wish to stay Iligan in my whole life long. The place was not only relaxing to live but the food was so sumptuous, native but fresh. So when my mother heard my simple wish, she promised me, one day we will be here again!
Wedding day began at the old church my mother used to attend since childhood. We meet our relatives and old family friends. I was in my flower girl attire , very timid and shy then that my daddy had to carry me in the aisle. But when I saw my cousins, we had great fun to march at the aisle while the photographers took pictures. Reception followed at a Chinese Restaurant. There I mingled again with my cousins and promised then to be back one of these days.
We went back to Manila reminiscing those simple living in the province. But it did not take long, mother’s promise to return Iligan someday became a wish come true for me. And this time it is for good. Now I live in my favorite escapade. Just a simple lifestyle away from a rat race world!

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.

Being Creative #1
What is your best asset?
I only heard this question once but it kept on repeating itself on my head many times.
What is really my best asset? You see. It repeats again.
When a person answers this question easily and directly, it means that he knows himself very well and I envy that kind of person. Honestly, I don't really know myself very well because I change all the time. I also need the opinion of others for who I really am. After days of realizing, thinking, and surveying about what is really my best asset, I can now breathe easily because I came up with an appropriate answer for this never ending question on my mind.
*breaths deeply*
Here it is! And my best asset is my---CREATIVITY!
Finally, when somebody asked me about my best asset, I could quickly answer. I'm happy for the fact that I actually have a best asset and I'm proud of that. Like every person in the world has his/her own best asset and I'm happy that I found mine. And it's actually my talent, that's why I consider it as my best asset even though it's not like my physical attributes, it's just my talent that no one could take it away from me.
MY CREATIVITY--- is my best asset.
Why?
Simple. Because it's my talent/skill that I value since I was born, it is something worth appreciating for and last but not the least, it is UNIQUE. Not every person in the world has this kind of ability and I'm proud that I have it. Like, its a rare gift given to me and I'm the only one who could use it and even develop it for the better.
CREATIVITY once again-- I'm creative! Yes, I actually am. But it's not like what you've thinking, I'm not creative in many different ways. What I mean is, I'm just creative in terms of one field and it's art, especially drawing and sketching. It first began when I was like a five-year-old child, that I actually draw everything I saw on the television. I draw cartoons and stuffs and even colored it. My mother was the first who notice this kind of ability and she was so mesmerized on how a five-year-old kid can draw. *Laughs* No. I'm not joking and its true. After years passed, I stumbled on painting. Even my elementary teachers told me to join a drawing contest and as far as I remember, I won the contest without even earning a sweat. Don't get me wrong, I'm not boasting. Actually, I'm not really good, as in, super master of being creative, you could see it in my room. Haha. But what I like the most even though I'm not really good at being creative is that I put an extra effort into it and I will nurture and develop it until I become older. Who knows, maybe I could become a famous person because of this asset I have. Or should I say this BEST ASSET I have.
